What is AIOE?

AIOE stands for AI Occupational Exposure and is the researchers' measure of how much of an occupation's tasks AI could in principle perform. A high score means much of the working day can be done with AI, a low one that most of it requires hands, presence or physical work. The measure says nothing about what actually happens to the jobs: exposed does not mean replaced, that is decided by how the workplace takes on the technology.
